Political tags — such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative, and so forth — are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire. The former are idealists acting from highest motives for the greatest good of the greatest number. The latter are surly curmudgeons, suspicious and lacking in altruism. But they are more comfortable neighbors than the other sort.

Collect all of your field notes. They get filed in your field notes binder.

Print out a copy of all the clue sheets, and all the final tally sheets.

Print out a copy of the map for each race.

Run the query “Controls & Clues by Section” and print it out (double sided please) This also goes into Jason’s box. This is your ultimate backup. (Make a copy for yourself too.)

Copy the Controls database into the year folder. This gives you a snapshot of the database as of the end of the season.

Prepare a report for the outdoor and safety committee with a summary of the season, significant events, and recommendations for the future.
